UPDATE: Safaricom has become the first company in the East African region to cross over $3 billion in annual revenue.

The company reported FY2026 revenue of Sh414 billion (about $3.2 billion).

M-PESA became Safaricom's largest revenue line in FY2022 and now sits at 41.5% of total revenue, up from 20.0% a decade ago.

Fixed Data and Mobile Data are the fastest growing lines over 10 years at 18.3% and 18.2% CAGR respectively, together accounting for nearly a quarter of revenue.

Voice has flatlined around KSh 80 billion after peaking above KSh 93 billion between FY2017 and FY2019. Volume growth could not offset pricing declines.

Messaging is in outright decline, down from KSh 15.7 billion in FY2015 to KSh 12.6 billion in FY2025.
